Inhabit is a show about the power of design.

We’re here to turn design inside out.

“We” are Erika, Eunice, and Lauren: a public health expert, an urban designer, and a poet.

Two of us are huge nerds about data, as in, the statistics and the stories of communities. Our third half is a huge nerd about the design of words and sound.

Together we ask the hard questions, bond over food and hot takes, and amplify the voices that are too often left out of design and the built environment.

Team Inhabit

Our story starts with people.

In the world of architecture and design, we think about buildings and everything they touch—from the air we breathe and the ground beneath our feet to the way we think and feel. We call it the “built environment.”

And on Inhabit, we think the built environment should be full of places for humans—to experience joy, spontaneity, and curiosity, all while feeling safe and comfortable and healthy.

We share what we know about design, policy, and research, so you can make the power of design work for you and the people you care about.
